Description

Decent elbaite from Europe is quite rare and good crystal specimens are scarce. Elba comes to mind and also saxon tourmalines are quite known. This is a very nice specimen of transparent gemmy pink elbaite from Portugal. The crystals are grown in matrix and mostly not complete due to extraction. The main crystal is gemmy and terminated, 1.4 cm long and gives an excellent contrats to the matrix. One of the best i encountered so far.
