Description

A very interesting and rare old timer specimen from this classic locality: A probably limestone matrix is covered by yellow crystalline sulphur with a coverage of small brownish aggregates of the 'semi-organic' SiO2 mineral melanophlogite is present.

Unfortunately no old label.

An extremely rare mineral and a classic European locality. Really hard-to-get classic from Sicily
