Description

A rare 19th century russian classic from a famous locale which has produced excellent topaz specimens. Amethyst from Mursinka is not that well known. This example is a partly double terminated cloudy lilac coloured quartz wth a strange structure at the base resembling capped quartz or skeletal growth resp..

Not a perfect crystal - there are quite a few dinks - but good size and 2 old and very interesting labels: one from Krantz with the A.A. Damour header and another from Krantz which is a lot younger.
