Description

An interesting 19th century old timer from Elba and a classic locality: a pegmatite specimen with crystals of porcelaine whitish k-feldspar with smoky quartz and some multicolour elbaite.

The tourmaline has no terminations and seems to have been broken during recovery of the specimen. Nevertheless a typical paragenesis example from this famous locality.

Some whitish acicular crystals on some of the feldspar crystals, not determined.
