Description

A very nice and also interesting specimen: a miarolitic granite exhibits dark smoky quartz crystals, K-feldspar and some muscovite sheets.

Labeled as 'Elements of granite, Armagh, Ireland' the specimen must be recovered before 1921 when Northern Ireland still was Eire. Resembles the specimens from Mourne Mountains, so maybe Armagh is only a proxy.
