Description
Locality:
Floristella Mine, Enna, Enna Province, Sicily, Italy

Cabinet (10-18 cm)

11 × 8 × 5 cm
Description

A showy and very nice specimen from the classic locale Sicily: Large sulfur crystals are covered by creamy whitish calcite/aragonite.

On top there is a second generation of bright yellow lustrous sulfur crystals.

The specimen comes from a Dr. Krantz Floristella locker but i can not guarantee that the locale is definitely correct as there were some Cozzodisi specimens too .. but Sicily (Agrigento) is!
