Description

A late 19th century US classic from Massachusetts: a matrix of sheet-like claevelandite and quartz host dark blueish-greenish elbaite with some pinkish parts/cores (watermelons) too. Comes with A.A. Damour label. Probably from the Clark Ledge pegmatite, a granite pegmatite in the Berkshire pegmatite field which was found about 1811 by Dr. David Hunt of Northampton, Massachusetts.
