Description

Nice and interesting example from the West Cumbrian iron ore field: a vug of botryoidal dullish hematite hosts white in part transparent blades of barite with tabular habit. Associated are small highly lustrous and mostly water clear cubes of fluorite. On the backside numerous bipyramidal quartz crystals. Nice paragenesis specimen, old time example from Krantz, GER, no old label.
