Description

A nice and representative classic with a Maucher label: flat rhombohedral (combined with steeper rhobohedron) calcite crystals with decent lustre settle on a purplish-grey fluorite crystal which can be seen in section at the backside. Only Weardale is given as locality, i included a closer up picture of the back to maybe improve the possibility of attribution to a mine by the Weardale specialists ;-)
