Description

Very interesting specimen from a rare locality: hematite var kidney ore in reddish sparry barite from the iron and manganese ore veins of the Hohberg district near St. Roman. The hematite was tectonically brecciated and then included by barite during the evolution of the vein system. Nice particularly from a scientific POV wrt to paragenesis and growth relations. ~680 g
