Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
4.5 × 7.5 × 2 cm
Description

This is an interesting one: willemite (i XRD´d another one from this lot, so i am quite sure) pseudomorphs/perimorphs after ? At mindat.org there is an entry from John Betts that similar type of material is descloizite after cerussite, other sources indicate that there are willemite after cerussite pseudo’s.

So this is a kind of controversial specimen. There might be some other minerals present as mimetite (probable for the orange aggregates) & plattnerite a.s.o. but these weren’t tested.

Very interesting specimen and a hard to get one of course.
