Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Sarbai Deposit, Rudny, Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan

Crystals on Matrix

Description

Stellerite from the giant skarn iron ore deposit of Sarbay appeared on the market around 1990 and there were excellent specimens found during that time. Nowadays they have become increasingly scarce. This is a very nice miniature specimen with pinkish-orange chabazite-Ca crystals on matrix and very nicely crystallized yellowish stellerite - a nice and typical (and meanwhile rare) combo specimen.
