Description

This is a very good example of the sought after schalenblende specimens of the Aachen-Kelmis-Stolberg ore district. One side polished specimen consisting of banded sphalerite with mostly bright slight yellwish-brownish colours, these were the rarer ones, most specimens were dark when cut and polished. From my personal collection. I found this one with bare feet in the creek in front of the Oskar adit after some hours of searching. Still remember virtually frozen toes :-)
