Description

Black Forest classic from Hinterohlsbach, the locality used to be a mine for illite/"hydromuscovite" (altered ryolite), long time abandoned now. In/on a matrix of tan whiteish altered ryolite settle radial flat sprays of fluorapatite with multiple colouration from reddish brownish via greenish to blueish, bit rainbow-like. Accompanied by purple fluorite this is a very nice and interesting (and also rare) paragenesis specimen from this defunct locality.
