Description

A very nice specimen from a miarole in the Spitzkoppe granite: a pegmatitic matrix of sheet like cream whiteish cleavelandite hosts a smoky quartz crystal and a nicely developed colourless topaz var silver topaz crystal. Matrix specimens from Spitzkoppe are increasingly rare, this one was found in 2005 and has since been in my collection.
