Description

Copper from the Urals is rarely available, and this old timer specimens originates from one of the classic old mining regions, mined as far back as the 1700s. A quartz(?)-rich matrix hosts tiny copper crystals. The majority is covered with dark patina. Nice hand written label, some cuprite present in the specimen as well as two enamel like writings on the specimen.
