Description

This is a museum specimen I think: a large quartz crystal with knife-like habit, covered by a thin layer of iron oxides and accompanied by whiteish lustrous phenakites up to ~ 0.5 cm.

These are the classic Stiepelmann specimens and they are increasingly harder to get.

Got this one from an older collection - I did not see any of this quality during my trips to Namibia in 2004 and 2005.
