Description

A very interesting old timer specimen from the end of the 19th century (or early 20th) from the collection of Dr. Hugo Francke (born 1860). Specimens from Francke are not seen very often. This is a classic vesuvianite specimen from the type locality with highly lustrous vesuvianite crystals, one of them hollow like a perimorph and broken open which is noted on the label. A rare italian classic with pedigree.
