Description

Copper from the Urals is rarely available, and this old timer specimens originates from one of the classic old mining regions, mined as far back as the 1700s. A quartz(?)-rich matrix is festooned with tiny, partly sharp crystals with a few spinel-twins. Some crystals exhibit a fresh copper metallic color, the majority is covered with dark patina. With unspectacular hand written Krantz label, a rare example.
