Description

Crocoite from Germany is less known although specimens had been found since more than 100 years ago at Callenberg. In the second half of the 20th century some important finds have been made and this specimen most probably dates from that period. Today no more finds are possible. The specimen has a quite impressive size and hosts intense red crystals of crocoite on the typical matrix, some of them terminated and with an arrowhead-like form. It is wrt overall display quality and the size and color of the crystals a pretty nice example.
