Description

Meliphanite is a rare calcium, sodium, beryllium, aluminum silicate. This old-time specimen comes with an old pen and ink label and consists of a rich mass of yellow meliphanite with some crystal faces present accompanied by darl mica. It comes from the classic locality - Brevik (today incorporated to Porsgrunn), Langesundsfjorden, Norway. 19th century specimen from the Krantz stock, english collector.
