Description

This is a striking specimen from a classic Australian locality famous for its exotic variations.
The matrix of the item is velvety, green, botryoidal Malachite liberally sprinkled with clusters of yellow Pyromorphite.

Rum Jungle was a famous Northern Territory mining centre that encountered environmental problems, and any future activity in the area is going to be limited. Few new specimens are likely to be produced, particularly of this quality from the oxidized zone.

This undamaged specimen will be a prized display sample in someone’s cabinet.
