Description

This specimen from the famous Broken Hill base metal deposit in Australia features gemmy red rhodonite crystals set in a shiny, metallic grey matrix of coarse galena.

Broken Hill is regarded by collectors internationally as one of the premiere specimen sources in the world. It is justly famous for both it’s secondary and primary sulphide samples.

This particular sample would grace any display as a species or location specimen with it’s large galena and deep translucent red rhodonite crystals.
