Description

Imagine a triangle with Barra do Salinas, Virgem da Lapa and Itinga at the corners - in the center of this tri-angle you will find the exact locality wher this crystal was discovered: Agua Branca. It is a nearly unknown locality and this crystal really stands out: it shows this almost neon cyan-blue color at the upper half, down to the bottom it switches to red-violet color. This lower area is partly covered with light lavender Lepidolite crystals. The Tourmaline is sharp terminated and shows excellent luster and wonderful clarity. It doesn´t need any backlight to expose the color and also this photos were done just under daylight. One repair, no significant damages to report.
