Description

I am dealing with minerals from Romania since almost 25 years. Austria is not too far away from Romania and after the iron curtain had fallen many miners and field-collectors came to Austria to sell minerals. I remember local mineral-shows where whole rooms were filled only with exhibitors from Romania. I really saw plenty of Stibnite specimens and I can tell you that isolated sprays are hard to obtain - and this is what we have here. A complete isolated and exposed spray of end-pointed, lustrous Stibnite crystals perfectly set on matrix. The matrix is covered with tiny Calcite crystals, small Barytes and a few tiny Chalkopyrite crystals are also present. This is a very aesthetic piece, well balanced, with contrast and an attractive combination of minerals.
