Description

Well shaped green octahedrons from Austrian Alps. If you visit the viamineralia website you can find an article of the discovery of these fluorites with photos from the cleft where they came out. Green octahedrons are much more rare than their pink cousins, only Gastein Valley produced them in relevant quantity and quality. The crystals are sharp terminated and show satiny luster.
