Lazulite Siderite & Quartz

Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Rapid Creek, Yukon, Canada
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.1 × 3 × 1.4 cm
Description

The locality produced the very best quality for lazulite world-wide - the intense royal blue crystals show exceptional luster and sharp termination. The combination with glossy brown siderite and lustrous quartz crystals give a lot of contrast to the piece. Material from the locality is very hard to obtain and should be high valued for rarity and quality.
