Crystal Group/Cluster

Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

5.2 × 4.3 × 2.3 cm
Description

Extremely rare material from Serbia. Covellite is a copper sulfide that only super rarely forms nice crystals. This specimen offered here is an exceptional example of it. A more than 5 cm long cluster consisting of well formed crystals and the most beautiful colour possible. It exhibits a fantastic deep metalically red colour at most areas of the piece but also the more typical electric blue colour. This is for sure an outstanding example for this species.
