Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Freiberg, Mittelsachsen, Saxony, Germany
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
9.1 × 6.4 × 4.9 cm
Description

The color of these Fluorites is incredible - better than any other yellow Fluorite I ever saw from Freiberg. It is not just intense yellow - it´s almost orange color. The crystals are all sharp terminated and show the very best luster you can imagine. Some of the edges are framed with water-clear, sparkling Quartz crystals, also the matrix is covered with these Quartz crystals. The piece is in good condition, there was some roughness along some edges, but acceptable for a historic piece. The label is from 1889, so it is 133 years old! It´s not like China when you can wait for an completely undamaged piece out from thousands that will come out next week. It is something really unique!
