Description

First about the locality: most material came out in the 60ties and 70ties, now the mine is non-productive since almost 40 years. The quantity was general very low and all we have today are crystals from the past, no new material can be expected. The special thing on all material from Santa Rosa are different colors and color tones to Pederneira and Cruzeiro. And the intensity of colors from Santa Rosa is famous. Especially green, blue-green and blue is among the very best world-wide. This particular specimen is developed as floater. The top shows sharp, pyramidal modified end-points, the bottom consists of uncountable tiny steps - like needles.
The color at the base is a vivid blue, than there is an area of more warm green and up to the top you can see tones of green-blue and cold green color. This is typical for the mine - it is never just a homogen color, there are always amazing shades and different steps of one color. The faces are highly lustrous and show a lot of amazing details all around. Please also note size, height, diameter - this is a very impressive piece and high valued on the market.
