Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Kamariza Mines, Agios Konstantinos, Lavrion District, Attiki Prefecture, Greece
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Museum (18cm plus)
Size:
21.4 × 17.6 × 9.5 cm
Description

I have a few decades of experience with minerals from the area, but I have to say I never saw something like this before. The assemble is so aesthetic, spherical areas, curved edges and at the top this spray of thin crystals! But the most remarkable indicator is the spectacular color - and please note, that there was NO back-light or any other light effects involved to photography; this is the true, natural color under daylight! For sure a mayor piece for the region and even for international standards - you won´t find something similar; saturation, assemble and dimension are really very unique! No significant damages to report.
