Description

So this is a really very rare specimen. Andalusite is generally rare from entire east-Alps, most times it comes from Tyrol - samples from Vorarlberg county are an out-standing rarity. The crystal is sharp (for Andalusite from Alps) terminated, isolated and end-pointed - and it shows great contrast to snowy white matrix.
