Description

This is a tooth of a lion, about 70 000 years old out of an old local collection, discovered at "Gamssulzen-Cave", about 100 years ago. Most material from the locality is from cave-bears, fossils from lions are an out-standing rarity. The condition is excellent, it is complete, no etching process and so the surface looks nearly lustrous.
