Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Diopsidrinne, Mayrhofen, Schwaz District, Tyrol, Austria
Class:
Mixed Specimens
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
4.1 × 0.5 × 0.3 cm
Description

Great Austrian classic - today it is more or less impossible to find just a sample at the locality. The first crystal is in good dimension, it is very translucent and clear. It shows an a very light color with touch of yellow and the faces are lustrous. The end-points consists of tiny steps, but they are complete and not broken. the second crystal is also very glossy and sharp terminated with the same kind of stepped end-points - but in green color. I offer this group to show both colors of diopsde from this famous classic locality.
