Description

Not just amber - this locality is one of the most remarkable origins of amber. It is located in Alps - not a place where we would expect amber. And it is one of the oldest amber localities world-wide, amber from this locality is over 120 millions of years old! It was a very small discovery decades ago and really nothing is on the common market. The specimen is very transparent and shows a wonderful, deep orange to red color. Well cut and polished all around and in remarkable dimension.
