Crystals on Matrix

Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

5.5 × 5 × 2.1 cm
Description

Famous US classic! But usually all specimen are clusters - only in a few cases they are on matrix. And the matrix of the particular piece is exceptional. Because usually you just have common mother rock, in this case there is strong alteration of tiny copper crystals of first generation, which show dark green patina. And it shows one further great addition: several sharp and highly lustrous Calcite crystals with Copper inclusions. So I only can recommend you this piece as something completely outstanding.

The main crystals in the center are exposed and up to 18mm across. Undamaged and developed as floater.
