Zincite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Oława County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.2 × 4.6 × 3.3 cm
Description

Unfortunately this is not completely natural - it would be the very best European zincite ever found if it was natural. These pieces grow inside the melters in the mining area of Olawa. Anyway - a really attractive and aesthetic piece in light apple green color, consisting of free-standing crystals, which developed a star- formed aggregate.
