Description

Usually Titanite from Austrian Alps comes from Salzburg county and usually it is green. This specimen is from an unique isolated discovery in Tyrol - so it unify two very uncommon indicators: the locality and the cognac-like color. The specimen shows a free-standing crystal perched on matrix. It is razor sharp terminated, highly lustrous and of excellent translucency. It shows a really amazing intense color, the contrast and the aesthetic assemble are superb.
