Merelani Hills, Arusha Region, Tanzania (United Republic)
Class:
Single Crystal
Size Range:
Museum (18cm plus)
Size:
5.5 × 23 × 8 cm
Description

A spectacular large end-pointed tremolite crystal - 55mm is an out-standing dimension for the mineral. And look at color and luster - for sure the very best tremolite discovery ever! The faces are highly lustrous, the color is most intense neon green - and that´s not a result from any light-source; just photographed under daylight. The end-points consist of tiny steps and the back-side is not less attractive than front-display. No significant damages to report (all edges and faces show natural steps, whatvere you mean to see is natural and not damaged), bottom was on the rock.
