Description

This is a very fine sample from this most relevant locality for emerald in entire mid-europe, located in the heart of Austrian Alps. The crystals show an exceptional quality for Habach Valley. Although they are not in compare-able quality like crystals from Muzo, their color is not less attractive. The crystals show a very sharp termination and excellent luster. They are embedded in the typical biotite schist matrix. No significant damages to report.
