Description

The quality of this specimen is as good as it ever could be - the luster is like mirror-finished! Azurite shows this most appreciated dark royal blue color. The whole assemble is really breath-taking - nearly all crystals - for sure all prominent ones - are end-pointed and the details are wonderful! There are uncountable, tiny sharp steps, also most end-points show these stepped habit. The matrix is covered with an intense green layer - most likely bayldonite. The contrast, the tri-dimensional impact, the color and the luster in union make this piece really stand out the crowd - and the crystal size is remarkable too; the crystals are up to 3cm tall. Frontside is nearly perfect, lower backside was on the rock.
