Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Rock Candy Mine, Grand Forks, British Columbia, Canada
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
12.8 × 9.6 × 7 cm
Description

Cuboctahedral crystals with stepped scalenohedral growth and zones of green-violet. The mine was closed in 1942, material is very hard to obtain. This partciular specimen is not just a sample - it shows the typical habit and pastell colors, which are so famous from Rock Candy Mine. And it is in very best quality and much more tri-dimensional in person. Look at the dimension from front to back - this is not just a plate. The group at the top and also the group to the left hand side are very exposed! Great classic in excellent condition damage-wise.
