Combination
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.1 × 4.9 × 2.8 cm
Description

A rare combination from this famous locality. The quartz crystals are very dark - but it is not a common smoky color and also no morion, maybe they are not even smokies and the color is caused by inclusions of an unknown mineral. In fact they are not brownish - more grey, nearly like metal. On it you can see small octahedral crystals - these are tiny scheelite crystals, which are covered with a thin beige layer - most likely micro crystals of mica. Further small crystals of chalkopyrite are present - they are partly on the scheelite octahedrons, partly next to them. The specimen is developed as floater, the backside consist of stepped, sharp and also lustrous faces. No significant damages to report.
