Description

The best transparent vivianite which were ever found in entire Europe came from Trepca in Kosovo and crystals are usually up to 2 or at least 2,5cm. Also ugly dull and black crystals up to 5 cm were found. So this material is absolutely exceptional and in my evaluation on of the most importnat new discoveries since decades in Europe - this crystal is from a recent (March 2019) discovery in Alba county, Romania. The discovery produced incredible stuff, but even when you compare with the best material you can judge this among the best 10% of the find. Look at the dimension, at clarity, at this emerald green color - it is really a crazy good piece and truely of highest relevance for the mineral - not only for Europe, even worldwide you won´t find many crystals in this quality and size! The faces are highly lustrous all around, the crystal is end-pointed and the texture on the faces is superb. No significant damages to report, looks great in each angle!
