Description

Great old classic from Greece. Both minerals - rhodochrosite and stibnite are very rare and hard to obtain from the locality. And such an aesthetic combination of both minerals in excellent quality is outstanding. The stibnite crystals formed sprays - they are covered with sparkling micro-crystals of rhodochrosite. Nothing on this specimen is dull, the whole specimen is chatoyant! Some stibnite faces are show only a thin layer and so you can see the dark grey iúnderneath. Other crystals and faces show a thick layer of light pink rhodo - really a fine contrast and the assemble is much more tri-dimensional in person. No significant damages to report.
