Description

The main crystal is 22mm across. The crystals are sharp terminated and partly glossy - they show aa very good contrast to matrix. Before emerald was discovered in Russia and Colombia this was one of the most important localities for this most rare gemstone. And still the only relevant locality in entire Europe! The locality isn located in an alpine region in the heart of the National Park "Hohe Tauern", should be high valued for quality, color and the rare classic locality!
