Description

Weisseck fluorite in finest quality. Most specimen show these amazing internal colors - but only a low number needs only minor backlight and show good quality of faces; pieces like the particular piece are limited, only 10% of all material showed this quality! This spectacular group shows the typical stepped faces, but the color is out-standing - even for Weisseck. I worked at the locality, I wrote an article for Mineralogical magazine about the locality - so if I ever was an expert for a locality then for Weisseck! And based on all my knowledge - the saturation and the different colors of the individual crystals and also the intensity of all these colors is fantastic. If you think it is only like this on the photos - you are wrong! When you look at this piece in person you will recognize that these phots are just understatement! The specimen is out of the personal collection of a member of the team who worked at the famous summit-cleft! No signficant damages to report, backside was on the rock.
