Description Tabs

Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
16 × 10.1 × 8.7 cm
Description

This is really a classic locality - even the celtic and the romas digged there for gold, for silver, ore etc. - the last productive mine digged for arsenic and closed in 1966. Today the area is a nature park and field collecting is prohibited. The particular specimen is from old discoveries in the 80ties - it shows intense golden chalkopyrite attractively set on tiny milky quartz needles. Nice contrast, remarkable dimension, great assemble and best quality. Should be high ranked for the rare, defunct locality.
