Celestine & Sulphur

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Machów Mine, Tarnobrzeg City County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.5 × 4.1 × 3.9 cm
Description

The base is a little knob of crystalized yellow Sulphur - on it you can see a wonderful star of Celestine crystals. Out from the Sulphur as center they grow radial and formed this amazing assemble. All crystals are end-pointed, razor sharp terminated and water-clear. All faces of each crystal show perfect luster. Celestine from the locality is not really rare, but I seldom saw such an aesthetic and eye-catching piece.
