Description Tabs

Description

Erongo Mountains, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.1 × 2.6 × 1.8 cm
Description

This specimen is really hard to describe - the Aquamarine is developed as floater with smaller crystals at the base. All faces are sharp terminated, highly lustrous and the crystals shows a really beautiful sky-blue color. In the middle you can see a crazy construction of siderite - it looks like an exact imprint of a former intergrown further Aquamarine crystal, which became seperated duirng the genesis of the specimen. So this one is not just a very eye-catching aquamarine, it is also represents a very interesting combination. No significant damages to report.
